REVOLUTION VOLUME CONTROL
HSE proudly presents the First patent pending automatic volume control device for your
boat stereo system. The Revolution Volume Control integrates seamlessly in existing or new
audio systems and performs the tedious task of changing the volume of your music from a high
level while under way to a low listening level during slow speed maneuvering or at rest.
HSE Revolution Volume Control
The Revolution Volume Control is installed between the stereo head unit and equalizer or
amplifiers. Stereo operation does not change when the Revolution Volume Control is off and
when energized heightens your boating experience by letting you navigate, tow a rider or
just relax as the music volume changes relative to the boat speed.
JOIN THE REVOLUTION!
The operation of the HSE Revolution Volume Control combines a cutting edge microprocessor control system with the highest quality audio components. The RPM signal monitoring circuitry is designed in a way that is independent of the number of cylinders associated with your boat engine. Once installation is complete, the
HSE Revolution Volume Control is easily programmed with a push of a button to operate at the desired engine RPM which is associated with the boat speed and can be changed at any time for any given condition.
OPERATION
The audio level while under way is set by the head unit or other audio source at the desired volume and the muted volume is set on the HSE Revolution Volume Control for the slow or stopped speed conditions. As the boat accelerates the engine RPM increases and when the user programmed set point is reached the
Revolution Volume Control waits for approximately 3 1⁄2 seconds before gradually increasing the stereo volume from the attenuated level to the desired volume while underway. The 3 1⁄2 second time delay before increasing the stereo volume allows for short sudden engine RPM changes without affecting the attenuated condition. When the RPM level decreases below the user programmable set point the Revolution Volume Control gradually decreases the stereo volume to the attenuated or muted condition.
HSE REVOLUTION VOLUME CONTROL APPLICATION
The HSE Revolution Volume Control has two sets of RCA audio inputs with one set of RCA stereo outputs. The main input RCA is designed for connection to a stereo head unit and the auxiliary input is designed for devices such as an Ipod or MP3 player with accessory RCA connection cables. The output signal is either
connected to the input of an audio equalizer or audio power amplifier. The auxiliary input also features an adjustable input level control which lets you match levels between your head unit and auxiliary audio source. The Revolution Volume Control is capable of producing up to a 13.5V audio output signal which lets you use the Revolution Volume Control as a line driver!
